Connect with The Narrow Door community through our meetings, outreach programs, and opportunities to develop your ministry. Together, we open doors to faith, service, and grace (charis) reaching the community for God.

 

We are primarily a support ministry, a foundation and training ground for other ministries (as we are all called to ministry in one way or another *from helps to support to 5-fold ministries). As an inter-denominational support ministry our members will network within their church and we will support them for the growth of those whom they disciple and their church.

 

We seek to connect you to like-minded Christians to help you gain a deeper knowledge and relationship with God. Then for those willing, help them find their call (if they don't know) and take reasonable steps (like training) to get them there. We never push you but will guide you and help you along the way, to reach your call.

 

To do this, we seek to partner with all Biblically based churches, which shall neither be under our banner nor we under theirs. We are not subject to them, nor are they to us. Therefore may not agree 100% with their statement of faith, their articles of belief or doctrines, and they may not agree 100% with us. If we are in agreement with the basic foundation and can see that their beliefs are not unscriptural, then we agree enough for an association.

Dream Centre (a Pentecostal denomination of good standing). Discussions have begun, approval pending review of this website and final discussion. We are totally happy with their faith articles and doctrines, as they align very much with us. 

The Narrow Door Projects:

 

Project 1: Social Presence - Now

Outline: Create and maintain a presence on Facebook, Instagram and other social media.

Progress: Facebook is running; all other social media sites are yet to have any presence

Requirements: Time (apx 4 hrs p/w *8hr pref), money for Ads, and help to develop, I don’t have the time

Requirements Met: Facebook mostly, some help would be good though. None of the others

 

        Project 1a: Direct Messages (The messages from my desk) - Now

        Outline: A video to teach on a Christian subject weekly, will be delivered by AI soon.

        Progress: Ahead of schedule, I’ve recorded months in advance.

        Requirements: $?, Better equipment, an Editor to save my time, Time (apx 8 hrs p/w *15hr pref)

        Requirements Met: Fair. The basics are getting done

 

        Project 1b: Webcasts - 21/11/25+

        Outline: A weekly conversation with others on Godly matters. (It will be interesting)

        Progress: Some preliminary production in January, launch in February

        Requirements: time (apx 4 hrs p/w *7hr pref)

        Requirements Met: None, as this is a very new idea.

 

        Project 1c: God in my life. The Christian Interviews - 23/11/25+

        Outline: Interviewing Christians for testimonies to inspire the lost to gain those through God, too.

        Progress: production to start 16/11/25, completed videos expected by 2026

        Requirements: time (apx 6 hrs p/w *8hr pref), Better equipment, an Editor? ($50-100 p/w)

        Requirements Met: None, will start this Sunday

 

        Project 2(1d): The Bible; Verse by Verse - Now

        Outline: A Bible study directly from me to you, verse by verse, expanding when required.

        Progress: Poor, ave 3 chapters per week (target 12-14) *time lacking due to other projects

        Requirements: Time only (apx 7 hrs p/w *28 hr Pref).

        Requirements Met: ⅓ of the required time is available now.

 

        Project 2a: Live online meetings - Jan/Feb?

        Outline: Live interactive Bible studies.

        Progress: will launch in February or when there are 200 group members

        Requirements: time (apx 7 hrs p/w *9 hr pref)

        Requirements Met: None. We need more group members to create a presence.

 

Project 3: BBQs (direct public contact) - Jan?

Outline: Church in busy parks; free food with a message about God

Progress: Yet to launch

Requirements: A sign, food, cooking equipment, time (apx 3 hrs p/w)

Requirements Met: None, I’ll do this when I get a chance to launch (now planned for around Christmas)

 

Project 4(1f): God? The Street Interviews - now

Outline: Interviewing people for their understanding of God and to note the lack of Christian knowledge, so Christians can learn to evangelise better.

Progress: Launched, but intermittent due to needing awareness and plans for these projects as a whole.

Requirements: time (apx 6 hrs p/w *8 hr pref), Better equipment and an Editor would help

Requirements Met: The basics are getting done; more time, people and resources would help.

 

Project 5: Evangelism - as per Project 3 BBQs

Outline: An organised, trained, supported team going in twos to reach the lost by appealing to their needs.

Progress: none, a person with 3 things is still required (motivation, courage and time)

Requirements: time (apx 6 hrs p/w *16 hr pref), Evangelist (I’ll teach, support them and go with them)

Requirements Met: None, not 1 person has said yes to giving their time (even an hour a week) to Gods prime call for every Christian (note only 3000 people have been made aware of this yet, so it may take some time as Christians are so very rare).

 

Admin: - > Scheduleing (7hrs), project management (7hrs), Ads (2-6hrs), mail/contact followup (6hrs), production oversight AI (4hrs),

 

2026+

 

Project 1g: Websites - When time permits

Outline: jehoshua.org and narrowdoor.org

Progress: Good. jehoshua.org is up and mostly complete. narrowdoor.org currently links to it.

Requirements:  $4 p/w Time (apx 2 hrs p/w *6 hr pref), others to develop the sites.

Requirements Met: Most, to improve; as important things like SEO are still required.

 

Project 6: Meetings. - Mid Jan?

Outline: Sunday meetings (Church)

Progress: Launched, very minor success; multiple delays have caused continuation issues

Requirements: $40 p/w, Awareness (people), Time (apx 9 hrs p/w)

Requirements Met: Not enough, I have little time and no other help yet.

 

Project 7: Ministry training - Mar?

Outline: To equip people for the ministries, create opportunities for them and reach more for Christ..

Progress: Yet to launch, when there’s enough interest.

Requirements: time (apx 4 hrs p/w * 9 hr pref)

Requirements Met: None, I neither have the time nor have we found people seeking to enter ministry yet.

 

Project 8: Counselling/support team - May+?

Outline: A team of people to show the love of God to those in need (some counselling/assistance skills).

Progress: None, the project has only just been conceived

Requirements: time (apx 40 hrs p/w), People willing to simply be Godly (help others in need).

Requirements Met: None, as this is a very new idea

 

 

These are the things this ministry does and plans to do. I have listed the absolute minimum time needed for each of these. This is to give you an idea of where this ministry is heading and let you know why things are moving slowly. It requires more than the 70-90 hours I put in weekly; I am just one person… things won’t happen quicker till others begin helping.
