Here's some messages that have been uploaded to facebook or YouTube as videos.
This is not just another message. This is a matter of life and death. Not just physical life—but eternal life. This isn’t just a sermon—it’s a wake-up call to choose life, love, and eternity with God.
Imagine taking a dip in the ocean, as you enter, you feel a very strong current. You decide to be safe and not go above your waist, but a massive wave comes and drags you out. No matter how much you try, you just keep getting swept deeper out. You can’t make it back and need to be rescued. Life is like this: we’re born in a world of sin, yet as babies, we still live innocent lives. Soon, in very early childhood, we are swept out into that sin and can’t rescue ourselves.
What happens when the heart stops beating? Is this life just a random accident, or is there a point?
Today, I want to speak to your heart about salvation, the reality of Heaven and Hell, the evidence for the resurrection, and most importantly, your God-given purpose. This is not about religion—this is about a relationship. This is not tradition—it’s transformation. And it begins with one name: Jesus.
It starts with the problem we all have, sin, which is dragging us out into the deep, separates us from God and destroys our lives both now and after death
Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." All. Not just the "bad" people. Me. You. Everyone. We're all in the same strong current.
Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." “Wages”’, what we earn by our sin isn't just physical death; it's spiritual death – eternal separation from God, the source of all life, love, and goodness.
The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:11 that God has “set eternity in the human heart.” That’s why deep down, we all sense that this life isn’t the end. We’re made for eternity—and that eternity leads to only two destinations: Heaven or Hell.
Jesus spoke clearly about both:
Matthew 25:46: “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
Hell is real. It’s not a symbolic place. Jesus described it as a place of “weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 13:50). A place of separation from God, darkness, and unending regret. God doesn’t want anyone to go there. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us, “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise… He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
But Heaven i’s where there’s no more death, no more pain, and no more tears (Revelation 21:4). It’s where we will walk in the presence of God, forever alive, forever fulfilled.
Let me be plain: where you spend eternity depends on one choice—what you do with Jesus Christ. The Choice is Yours
The Bible is crystal clear about these two destinations. In John 14:6, Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” This isn’t an opinion; it’s a promise. Jesus is the only way to Heaven.
2 Corinthians 5:21: "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." Our sin laid on Him; His perfection credited to us.
Ephesians 2:8-9: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." Salvation isn't earned by being good or going to church. It's a free gift received by faith.
Other religions might offer rituals, rules, or vague hopes, but only Christianity gives you a Saviour who defeated death itself. No other faith guarantees salvation through grace. Christianity isn’t just better—it’s the only way because Jesus is the only one who paid the price for your sins.
John 14:6: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Now, that might sound narrow to some, but let me ask you: If you were drowning, would you complain that there was only one lifeboat? No! You’d rejoice that there was a way to be rescued at all!
The entire Christian faith hinges on one historical event: the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. If it didn't happen, we're wasting our time (1 Corinthians 15:17)
Let’s look at three clear proofs.
First, the empty tomb. Luke 24:2-3 says, “They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.” The tomb was empty, and no one—not the Romans, the Jewish leaders, nor disciples—could produce Jesus’ body. If His enemies had stolen it, they would’ve paraded it to shut down Christianity. If His disciples had stolen it, they wouldn’t have died brutal deaths for a lie. The empty tomb stands as a fact of history.
Second, the eyewitnesses. Jesus didn’t just appear to one or two people. 1 Corinthians 15:6 says, “He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living.”
Third, the transformed lives. The disciples were ordinary men. Before the resurrection, they were scared, hiding in fear. But after seeing the risen Jesus, they became bold, fearless preachers
No other religion has a founder who conquered death. But Jesus is alive, and His resurrection proves He is who He said He is—the Son of God, the Saviour of the world.
So how do you receive this salvation? It’s not by being good enough. None of us are.
We’ve all lied, lusted, hated, or turned from God in some way. Sin separates us from Him. Your good deeds are like dirty rags compared to God’s perfection (Isaiah 64:6).
You receive this gift by repenting (turning from sin) and believing in Jesus.
Acts 3:19: “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out…”
God’s waiting to forgive you, to heal you, to restore you.
So, what does this mean for you right now? Salvation isn't just a "get out of Hell free" card. It's the start of a brand new life, with a profound and eternal purpose, beginning today.
In Christ, you find identity, destiny, and peace. Not the kind of peace the world gives, but one that stays even in the storm. Salvation isn’t just about what happens after you die. It transforms your life right now.
2 Corinthians 5:17 promises, “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” Jesus gives you purpose. He takes your brokenness and makes you whole. In Christ, you’re not just a nobody—you’re a child of God, called to make a difference in this world. By acts of love, service, kindness, sharing hope, and using your talents for His glory.
Ephesians 2:10: "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Part of your purpose is sharing this incredible rescue story with others!
Matthew 28:19-20: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
God Himself takes up residence within you, giving you power, guidance, and comfort (John 14:16-17, Ephesians 1:13-14).
Other religions give advice. Jesus gives life.
Other religions may reform you. Only Jesus can transform you.
You have heard the truth. Not from me—but from God’s Word. And now, you have a choice. Don’t delay. You could be in a deadly accident today or tomorrow. Hebrews 9:27: “People are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” But today can be your day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2: “Now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of salvation.
Don't wander in the wilderness any longer. Don't gamble with your eternity. The rescue boat is here, and Jesus is reaching out His hand.
How do you respond?
Admit you are a sinner, separated from God.
Believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son, that He died for your sins, and that He rose from the dead. Trust that He alone can save you.
Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Turn away from your old life of sin (repent) and surrender to His leadership.
Receive His free gift of salvation and eternal life by faith.
Are you ready to leave your past behind? Are you ready to know where you’ll spend eternity? Are you ready to find real purpose?
It's not about saying magic words; it's about a genuine commitment to God.
If so, then pray this from your heart:
“Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I know I’m a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive Your forgiveness. Come into my life as my Lord and Saviour. I put my trust in You alone to save me. Forgive me. Cleanse me. change me, and give me a new life with You. I give you everything. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
If you prayed that prayer and meant it, you have crossed from death to life (John 5:24). Don’t go back. Walk forward in your new life. Get a Bible. Connect with a Bible-believing church, start reading the Bible, and start walking with Jesus every day. And live with the joy and power that only Jesus gives.
