The Narrow Door

The Narrow Door is a Biblically based Church unlike any other.

 

What’s different:

 

1. Service format – We offer a free meal and teach on the Bible.

2. Interactive Teaching – rarely did Jesus or the disciples preach, they taught (most often interactively).

3. Training – much opportunity is given for new ministers to teach in services and a free ministry school.

4. No titles - Jesus said don't use titles Matt 23:8-12 (paraphrased). It’s not “Pastor John” or “Father John,” etc.. It’s just “John”.

5. Correct roles - (e.g. a pastor is a shepherd – a direct carer, one-on-one guide more than a preacher).

6. Spirit Lead (The Holy Spirit is free to move, but not forced).

7. Maintain Godliness - Salvation isn’t just a prayer, it’s a commitment (to live as God says).

8. small congregations – more a practical point, to keep in touch personally.
