The Narrow Door

The Narrow Door is a Biblically based Ministry unlike many others.

 

Our Two Focus Areas:

 

We are a Christian Empowerment Group focused on 2-fold growth - for people to first commit to God, and grow personally in their knowledge and relationship with God and secondly to teach and encourage evangelism for the church's numerical growth.

 

We are a training ground with a launch and support system for ministry, for anyone who has found their calling or is still seeking it. We are active, progressive, non-denominational and seek to guide and equip Christians with multiple tools and resources. Please join us to launch, find support for your ministry, or watch others launching theirs.

And we have occasional home meetings (which are temporarily discontinued)

 

What’s different about the home meetings:

 

1. Service format – We offer a free meal and teach on the Bible.

2. Interactive Teaching – a bit more like a Bible study.

3. Training – much opportunity is given for new ministers to teach in services and a free ministry school.

4. No titles - Jesus said don't use titles Matt 23:8-12 (paraphrased). It’s not “Pastor John” or “Father John,” etc.. It’s just “John”.

5. Spirit Lead (The Holy Spirit is free to move, but not forced).

6. Maintain Godliness - Salvation isn’t just a prayer, it’s a commitment (to live as God says).

7. small congregations – more a practical point, to keep in touch personally.

 

 

P.S. We are not fixated on the messiah's name, Jesus is fine, just remember, it's a name that came about only about 700 to 900 years ago, previous to that he was known as Yeshua (which is a shortened nickname of Yehoshua or Jehoshua *as the Hebrew didn't have qa J or Y **either is as close as we can get).
