The Narrow Door

The Narrow Door is a Biblically based Ministry unlike many others.

 

Our Two Focus Areas:

 

 

A Christian Empowerment Group focused on 2-fold growth - for people to first commit to God, and grow personally in their understanding and relationship with God, and secondly to help them practically to reach their call (especially evangelism for the church's numerical growth).

 

We are a FREE training ground with a launch and support system for ministry, for anyone who has found their calling or is still seeking it. We are active, progressive, inter-denominational (we work within multiple denominations to bring new Christians to them and help disciple them within those denominations), and seek to guide and equip Christians with multiple tools and resources. Please join us to launch, find support for your ministry, or watch others launching theirs.

 

 

A free support network for every step of the Christian journey. We seek to have representatives in as many Churches of as many denominations as we can to be a network working together for the purpose mentioned. We will plant new Christians into churches that suit them rather than try to change them into fitting into a single mould, and get a network around them to disciple them as much as we can.

• Interactive meetings (6pm and 6:30pm on Tuesdays and Fridays *Join us and chat about a Godly subject) - from Jan 26, 2026 they will be 30 minutes at 11am and 6pm Brisbane time

And we have occasional home meetings (which are temporarily discontinued)

 

What’s different about the home meetings:

 

1. Service format – We offer a free meal and teach on the Bible.

2. Interactive Teaching – a Bible study rather than a church.

3. Training – much opportunity is given for new ministers to teach and a free ministry school.

4. No titles - Jesus said don't use titles Matt 23:8-12 (paraphrased). It’s not “Pastor John” or “Father John,” etc.. It’s just “John”. (We do respect the titles used by other denominations, etc. If their Church calls the Pastor John, so will we)

5. Spirit Lead (The Holy Spirit is free to move, but not forced).

6. Maintain Godliness - Salvation isn’t just a prayer, it’s a commitment (to live as God says).

7. small groups – more a practical point, to keep in touch personally.
